Deadwood, episode 1.1

10.5.11

I like this. I'm a few seconds into the titles.

15/11/13 I changed my mind not long after this. I watch TV for escapism.

Fringe, episode 1.1

1.5.11

Found, amongst some notes:

Walter Bishop is fantastic!

"The only thing better than a cow is a human. Unless you need milk then you really need a cow."

Human Target, episode 1.1

20.4.11

"Trust Chance."

Mark Valley was no fun in Fringe. I much prefer these kamikaze action-adventure characters.

Found some of it predictable, but I don't think that's the point, and it never made me want to stop watching.

Justified, episode 1.1

20.3.11

One of the best reactions I’ve seen—on TV or otherwise, and including the time I unintentionally caused someone to toss their whole glass of water up in surprise.

Gary’s, that is. About 48 minutes in.

White Collar, episode 1.1

13.1.11

This came well recommended. By Matt Bomer's performance in Chuck, and by my sister who said Peter's a bit like Jack O'Neill, which he is.

The case compares it to Catch Me If You Can, Ocean's Eleven and CSI.

I've seen all; it's not like any of them. It's better.

Fringe, episode 1.1

21.11.10

Fringe is up for Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show (People's Choice) this year. It being the only one without --I hope-- vampires, I'm taking a look.

It's a bit gooey, not for the sensitive of stomach. I wasn't sure about John Noble for some reason. He is fantastic.
