I watched this on Sunday night, instead of packing to come back to uni, but my posts have become a bit backed up.

I think I gasped a lot.

Very much looking forward to the next episode, hoping that (almost) all mysteries will be revealed...and another series announced.

Outcasts, episode 6

I was wondering what it is, precisely, that people don't like about this show.

Perhaps I've watched too much Stargate, which is fun, but doesn't always have a whole lot of depth. The worlds they visit, for instance, where everyone speaks the same American-English.

It's funny too.

Stella: Maybe he survived.
Tate: There were reports of a fireball.
Stella: Well, nobody ever did a proper search.
Tate: It was a fireball.

I take back my earlier complaint.

I was only being picky because I think it's a brilliant show (though the scheduling is a little odd). 50 words is insufficient. May write longer something somewhere.

One thing really irked me: when Stella’s finally reunited with Lily, she’s brushed off.

Sure, fine, if you're 15 and your mum’s just flown from New York to London to see you.

Lily is 18. She'd understand. They've also survived the odds to be reunited. The ‘leaving’ seems relatively trivial.

It's definitely science fiction. It opens with a whopping great spaceship in space.
