At this point I have no idea if a fourth series will be forthcoming. Yup. J

Its baddies are unbelievably unbelievable, but the goodies are great. Gwaine...

And for all its predictability, nothing in Merlin ever turns out quite as expected.

Merlin: cheesy, predictable, yet it always redeems itself somehow. Just as I was getting fed up with this one, Merlin ... and ... and now it is good again.

Merlin, episode 3.9

What a sweetie Alice is. Shame about the Freaky Head Scorpy-Thing.

Arthur: "Oh cheer up will you." *punch*
Merlin: "How is punching me in the arm going to cheer me up?"
Arthur: "It...works with the knights."

Merlin, episode 3.8

This one made me laugh, lots. They should do episodes like this more often. And Radio Times said it would be serious. Pah. Best yet.

This is not a criticism. Stories are supposed to make you ask questions, and this is what 'Merlin' is making me ask: Why Morgana's sudden vendetta against Gwen?

Meanwhile, the Merlin-Arthur banter is as ace as ever.

As are Morgana's dresses.
