• Will Turner is still a dork, but also kicks butt
• That theme song/tune
• Pirates + western + electric guitar
• Cutler Beckett
• All the weirdness
• Really, they're all just having lots of fun.

Big Hero 6 (2014)

I put this on for fun, not expecting to be an emotional wreck at the end. Loved San Fransokyo and all the artwork. Brilliant baddie. So, just, bad.

Atlantis, episode 1.7

The BBC's 'Atlantis' is Merlin/A Knight's Tale. The similarities are . . . everywhere. I was going to write something about all that, but then this episode came along.

I already like Sarah Parish, especially as a baddie, but she's not completely evil and that is interesting.

I must find duller books for my bedtime reading. This is another I picked up to go through chapterly. That was yesterday; I'm now over halfway through.

Lucifer Box has such a distinct voice (it's in first person), though he does remind me a lot of the also fantastic Flashman.
